Apache Pizza Sligo Reviews

Apache used to be my favourite takeaway in Sligo - for 14 euro you'd get a pizza you couldn't finish customised to your taste.
However a while ago there was a change to the recipe, I suspect the dough, and everytime I eat it I feel sick the next day, as do people I know ordering from here and even Apaches in different counties.
Couldn't recommend it to anyone these days. Foods tasty but it's not worth the pain.

Ordered food tonight said on just eat would be delivered in 45 mins but came with 25 mins to spare so was pleasantly surprised.
Ferro rocher milkshake seems to be made with ferro flavoured sauce rather thank ferros themselves which for €4.50 doesn’t seem worth it but flavour itself was good also an up charge of €.50 cent for cream ontop so quiet expensive.
Ordered meal for one which was a personal pizza and topped fries. The pizza itself was about the size of your hand enough for me taste was nice and topping were fresh but it could’ve been a bit hotter.
The “loaded zingy taco fries” was just plain chips drenched in definitely not taco sauce more of an Indian spiced mayo and no mince. Once again taste was ok but not really as advertised.
Altogether the meal was fulfilling, nothing extraordinary for a personal pizza “loaded fries” and a sprite and milkshake was €23 on just eat with delivery so in today’s economy I suppose it’s value for money.

A regular customer of Apache Pizza for years. This evening I ordered the Spice Box, as usual and my Husband ordered the Munchy Box.When I opened the box after it was delivered, there was part of a dirty, beige coloured plaster sitting right on top of the food.

I imediately called and spoke to the Supervisor who said she would call back after checking the cameras. She called back after a few minutes and told me there was nothing on the cameras.
When I asked how the plaster was on the food, she said "I don't know, we have rules too, the staff aren't allowed wear plasters in the kitchen"... Isn't it proper food hygiene amd HACCP requirements to wear a blue coloured plaster and gloves if you have a cut?
She offered to send me another as long as they got the other one back!
I told her I didn't want a replacement as it turned me off the food, I would like a refund and they could have the food back. She refused. Horrific customer service.
I called Just Eat, they were very apologetic and they refunded me along with credit on my account as a gesture of good will.
I'm not one to leave reviews but this is disgusting and I will be reporting it to the FSAI.

I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding an order I placed earlier today through Just Eat.

There was an issue with the delivery location, and unfortunately my order was delivered to the wrong address. I received only one missed call from the delivery driver. When I returned the call, he informed me that the order had already been delivered and advised me to contact the restaurant directly.

I then contacted the restaurant to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the staff member I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional and caused further unpleasant arguments. She made me even more upset. She did not introduce herself, and when I asked for her name, she refused to provide it, stating that she did not have to disclose her name and that she was the supervisor.

During the conversation, she repeatedly blamed me for entering the wrong address, which I did not do. I have previously ordered from your restaurant without any issues. When I explained that the delivery driver had only attempted to contact me once, she responded sarcastically, asking whether the driver was expected to keep calling if I did not answer. She also asked in a sarcastic tone whether I wanted a refund or another pizza.

I paid €32 for this order, and I believe it was unfair that the delivery driver handed my order to someone else without making further reasonable attempts to contact me. I later contacted Just Eat and was issued a refund, as there may have been an issue with the location services on the app.

However, the manner in which I was treated by your staff member was unacceptable. I respectfully request that this matter be addressed and that the staff member involved provide an apology for her unprofessional conduct. I also hope that steps will be taken to ensure a higher standard of customer service in the future.

If this matter is not resolved appropriately, I will consider raising the issue with the relevant consumer services authority.

Apache serves average Pizzas in taste wise , Heavy size . Doner Kebab not recommended.
